Kristin High

Mom. Artist. Airman

Born in 1987 to a family of all boys I already had to make myself known in the world. I was the fourth child to Michelle and Robert. I was always a tomboy but I had an attraction to style. My father was in the military so we moved around a lot and I got  inspiration from all of the places we lived. My dreams and aspirations were always greater than just being stuck in a small town.

I graduated high school with honors and attended the Art Institute of Chicago the following fall. That city helped mold me. I realized who I was and who I wanted to be there. I met my greatest inspiration Martina whom also inspired the name of my clothing line. Dawn, who taught me how to not follow the crowd and keep my head high even in the worst of times. I also met Wes who ended up showing me the ropes of the industry and by accident became a life long friend. With positive thinking and A LOT of ups and downs, Sadface was created. And just like the rest of my life another calling came along.

I joined the Air Force in 2007 and currently serve as a photojournalist. Coincidence?...could be, but I'm not going anywhere and my art is better than ever.

As of yet, I'm a single mom with three awesome kids. Couldn't be any luckier if I tried.

My current inspiration comes from the time I spent in South Korea. I was able to see and learn many things that helped mold me into who I am today. Enough to just be grateful for the experience and people in my life.

I am now living in Las Vegas and breaking barriers in with my fusion pop art style.

Hopefully you continue to follow me on my journey.
